Modular Pathway


Skybound Zero-to-ATPL

Skybound is a structured progression pathway designed to move capable candidates into professional pilot training.
The pathway operates in controlled intakes aligned with academic scheduling and funding capacity.

Candidates may register interest for the next intake

 

How the Pathway Works

The pathway is delivered in two structured stages.

Phase 1 – Academic Stage (12 Months)

Phase 1 is delivered remotely.
Candidates follow a structured UK ATPL theoretical knowledge syllabus.
This stage assesses academic performance, study discipline, and professional suitability prior to progression.



Phase 2 – Modular Flight Training

Candidates who meet the required standards may progress to Phase 2, subject to review.

Phase 2 consists of modular flight training delivered through approved training partners. This includes:

  • Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

  • Hour Building

  • Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

  • Instrument Rating (IR)

  • Multi-Engine Piston (MEP)

  • APS MCC & Type Rating preparation

Progression is based on performance and formal review.

All funding agreements are provided by StepEx Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 922751). Skybound Funding facilitates introductions to StepEx and, where a cadet is approved, arranges payment of training fees to the selected Approved Training Organisation from Skybound’s own funding sources.

 

Skybound does not provide regulated credit agreements; any Future Earnings Agreement (FEA) is entered into solely between the applicant and StepEx Ltd, subject to StepEx’s terms and approval process.
